We have been blessed with abundance on Bonne Terre and it just keeps growing. Okay so it has taken hard work too but what a year!! Over 1700lbs of food this year and counting! We have harvested black eyed peas, black beans, peanuts, pumpkins, okra, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, papaya, banana, plantain, breadfruit, mangos, oranges, guava, passionfruit, mushrooms, katuk, chaya, moringa, cranberry hibiscus, malabar spinach, pomegranate, lemongrass, cactus and cashews!! We are able to use this food in our staff lunches daily, give to MADO – a local orphanage we partner with as well as provide to our community. Its exciting to see the increase and the “fruits of our labour” and how it has increased year to year.
Hi Jen- in Chicago with our daughter and the grandkids. They are busy boys! Soon off to Toronto/Stratford/Buffalo and home on the 26th.
How are You? Will I see you this summer? Love Corry
Hi Corry! Safe travels! No sure when I will get a break. All depends on the projects we get done this summer! I’ll be in touch when I come home! XO J
